The Galam Group’s soluble products are produced using raw materials that have been pre-cooked, dried and ground into flakes or powder.

The advantage of these starches is that they dissolve easily and efficiently in cold liquid and can be brought to full viscosity without need for cooking, thereby saving energy-intensive production processes.

There is a wide range of soluble products:

Soluble legumes: natural or processed, from different sources of raw materials – corn, potatoes and tapioca
Soluble cereals and legumes: chickpeas, peas, oats, buckwheat, rice, semolina, barley and rye. These are all rich nutritional source of proteins, vitamins and minerals. Each contributes a different flavor or texture, enabling the enrichment of a wide range of final products. These products are used for nutritional enrichment, flavor and texture enhancement, thickening, improving adhesion, preserving moisture and more.

Soluble starches, cereals and legumes can be used in a variety of applications – instant products, baked goods, meat substitutes, dairy products, breakfast cereals, baby food and more.
